In brief: 4MySelf is a character test for self-discovery. The result is a working hypothesis based on your answers, not a diagnosis. It must not be used to hire and assess people or to judge someone without their knowledge. By taking the test or buying the report, you agree to these terms.
What this product is
4MySelf is an online character test. You answer questions about what you did and why, and a program following the method computes which traits are pronounced in you and in what order, and names the pairing of the two leading ones. Free of charge — the name of the pairing, its essence and the trait breakdown. The full report is paid.
There is no sign-up: access to the result is via a personal link. Whoever knows the link sees the result, so don't publish it.
What the result is
The result is a working hypothesis based on your answers, not a verdict on you. The questionnaire sees only what you yourself told it about your actions — one observation channel out of the six the method uses. It is not a diagnosis and not a medical tool. Don't make important decisions about your life on the basis of one test.
What the test is not for
- For hiring decisions, for assessing candidates and employees.
- For assessing another person without their knowledge — for example, by taking the test "for them".
The test is designed to be taken by a person themselves, about themselves and of their own free will.
Age
4MySelf may be used from the age of 16.
Price and payment
The full report costs $35 (US dollars); the payment is one-off, with no subscription. The price is shown on the button before payment. Payment goes through Stripe: you enter your card on the Stripe page; we don't see it. If your card isn't in dollars, the exchange rate and conversion fee are set by your bank.
How the report arrives
After payment the text of the report is prepared automatically — this usually takes a couple of minutes. It appears on your personal link, and a link to it comes by email to the address you gave at payment. You can close the page: the email will come anyway. The report stays on the link until you delete it.
If the report couldn't be prepared, the money is refunded automatically. When and how — on the "Refunds" page. What happens to the data — on the "Privacy" page.
The texts are for personal use
The texts of the site and of your report are for personal use: read them, save them, reread them. Reselling them, passing them off as your own or using them for commercial purposes without our written consent is not allowed.
Liability
We do our best to keep the site working and the result faithful to the method, but we don't promise that the site will always be available and free of errors. The result and the report are material for reflection: you make the decisions, and you are responsible for them too. If something goes wrong through our fault, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
Changes to the terms
The terms may change. The new version appears on this page with a new "Updated" date. A report already purchased is not affected.
