Question 7 · scene

You were offered a project with a big risk and a big prize. Tight deadlines, almost no team. What did you do?

Took it on at once and built the team along the way
Declined until I saw a plan and the people
Why?
I don't like chaos I didn't want to let people down The prize wasn't worth the nerves
The same action grows from different reasons in different people. The reason is what shows which root is yours.

Ordinary tests ask how you see yourself

People answer the way they want to see themselves — and get a portrait of their self-image. 4MySelf asks differently.

An ordinary personality test

"I am a sociable person"

You answer about how you want to come across. The result is a box from a ready-made list.

4MySelf

  1. Scene A specific situation from your life that you remember.
  2. Action Two options for what you actually did. Each has its own cost; neither is right.
  3. Reason Why exactly that way. It says more about character than any self-assessment.

Actions, not self-assessment

Every question is a specific situation with two options. There is no "right" answer and no "agree — disagree" scale.

The profile is computed by a program

A deterministic calculation by the method: the same answers always give the same result. AI only writes the text of the full report — on top of a profile that has already been computed.

A mix, not a label

There are seven traits, and in any person three or more are pronounced. The result is not a cell in a table but a named pairing of your two leading traits plus a breakdown of all the pronounced ones.

Method

Professional profiling, adapted for self-discovery

An approach used by intelligence and security services to understand people by their actions rather than their words. The questionnaire sees one observation channel out of six — your actions as you describe them — which is why the result is always a working hypothesis.

7 character traits. Everyone has three or more pronounced — character is always a mix.

42 pairings of two leading traits. Order matters: an "organised artist" and an "artistic organiser" are different people.

Example of a pairing Organised Artist Shine on the outside, order on the inside.

What you get

Short result · right after the test Free
  • The name of your pairing and a one-line essence.
  • Trait breakdown: which pronounced traits your character is made of, and in what proportion.
  • A personal link to your result: no sign-up or email, come back any time.
Full report $35 · one time

Up to 2000 words about you personally, six sections. Each one has the essence, a recognisable scene of "how it looks from the outside" and three concrete steps.

  • Which work and roles suit you
  • In a team
  • Manager and subordinate
  • Partnership as equals
  • Close relationships
  • Strengths and risks

Compatibility is always in context, with no verdicts like "you are not right for each other". The text is written by AI from a profile that has already been computed; the AI neither computes nor changes the profile itself. The report stays on your link indefinitely.

Questions and answers

All questions and answers
How accurate is the result?
We don't quote accuracy percentages and don't cite studies — the tool is new, and any number would be a promise with nothing to back it. The result is a working hypothesis based on your answers. The more honestly you recall real situations, the closer the hypothesis is to you.
How long does the test take?
35 to 60 questions: 21 general ones, 5 about major decisions and the clarifying ones — as many as it takes to put your traits in order. Each question is one scene and two or three taps. You can stop at any point: answers are saved as you go.
Is this a personality type test?
No. A "personality type" is one box from a ready-made list, and 4MySelf doesn't sort people like that. Character is always a mix of three or more traits out of seven, and the result is a pairing of your two leading traits with their shares plus a breakdown of the rest.
How much does it cost?
The pairing, its essence and the trait breakdown are free. The full report of up to 2000 words is $35, one time, no subscription. The price is shown on the button before payment; the charge goes through Stripe.
