There is no account in 4MySelf, and we don't ask for a name or an email for the test. Your answers and result are kept under a long, unguessable link that only you have, and are deleted with one button. We get an email only if you buy the full report — Stripe passes it to us. Your answers to the questions stay in our database: the AI that writes the text of the report doesn't receive them.
What we keep
While you take the test
- Answers: which option you chose in each question and which reason you named — or that you never had such a situation.
- Profile: which traits are pronounced in you, in what order and in what proportion, and the name of your pairing. This is a working hypothesis based on your answers; it is computed by a program, not by a person and not by AI.
- Timestamps: when you started the test, when you answered each question and when you finished.
- Where you came from: a tag from the link (for example,
utm_source) or the address of the site you came from, and whether you came from a phone or a computer. From these same records we count how many people started the test and how many reached the end.
If you buy the full report
- Email, which you entered on the Stripe payment page — Stripe sends it to us after payment. The link to the report and refund emails go to it.
- Payment details: the Stripe session and payment numbers, the amount, the currency, the payment status and, if there was one, the refund.
- The text of the report and the name of the model that wrote it.
- Email records: which email we sent and when.
We have no name, password, phone number or card details. We don't record the IP address in the database.
What sits in your browser
- localStorage — a copy of your personal link. From it the home page offers to continue an unfinished test or return to the result. When you delete your data, the copy is erased.
- sessionStorage — a service note of which question you reached in this tab, and a note of the move to the home page. They are erased when you close the tab.
We don't set cookies. There are no visitor counters, advertising pixels or third-party analytics on the site.
Who else processes data
- Stripe — payment processing. You enter your card on the Stripe page; we don't see it. From us Stripe receives the amount, the order number and the address to return you to after payment — that is your personal link to the result. Stripe sends us the email and the payment numbers. Stripe's policy
- Resend — sends the emails: the link to the finished report and refund emails. It receives your email address and the text of the email, which contains your personal link. Resend's policy
- Cloudflare — hosting of the site and the server, the database, task queues and request logs. Everything listed above sits in a database at Cloudflare. Cloudflare may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser) to protect against abuse; our own service records of the server's operation are there too: errors and order numbers, without answers and without emails. Cloudflare's policy
- Anthropic — the Claude model writes the text of the paid report. It receives the computed profile — the pronounced traits in order and your pairing — and the method's texts about the traits, about the people around you and about the four contexts: team, management, partnership, loved ones. Your answers to the questions are not passed to the model. It doesn't receive your email or personal link either. The AI doesn't touch the free result at all. Anthropic's policy
We have no advertising, we don't sell data and we don't pass it to anyone other than these four services.
How long we keep it
The data stays until you delete it. A purchased report stays on your link until you delete it yourself. If the retention rules change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
How to delete everything
The result page has a "Delete my data" button. After confirmation, the answers, the profile, the purchased report, the records of emails to you and the records of your run disappear. The link to the result and the link from the email stop working, and the copy of the link in the browser is erased. Deletion cannot be undone.
If you paid, the fact of the payment remains with us: the Stripe session and payment numbers, the amount, the status and the refund details. It no longer contains the email or any link to your result. It is needed for payment accounting and so that a refund, if already under way, goes through. The payment record at Stripe itself, the emails at Resend and the request logs at Cloudflare are kept under their rules.
Deleting your data doesn't refund the money for the report — when money is refunded is set out on the "Refunds" page.
If the link is lost, we can't find your answers: we have nothing that would link them to you. If you bought the report, the link to it is in the email.
Age
4MySelf is for those aged 16 and over. We don't ask your age and deliberately don't collect data from those who are younger.
Changes
If this page changes, the "Updated" date at the top will change, and the new version will appear right here.
